Anthony Randazzo: What's Next For Libertarians?

Nov 19, 2012

Reason Foundation's Anthony Randazzo recently spoke to us about the future of the libertarian movement following the 2012 election.  Anthony had a lot of positive thoughts, highlighting the fact that a lot of people liked Libertarian Party candidate Gary Johnson but couldn't bring themselves to vote for him since he didn't have a chance of winning.  Randazzo says the near future of libertarianism is not based in electoral politics but in grassroots and education based focus on expanding ideas of liberty.

On the budget, libertarians are not hopeful that a balanced budget can be accomplished, as Anthony details his own failed efforts to find a way to a balanced budget through a roundtable of people with different political ideologies.

Where do you think the libertarian movement will go from here?  Go to our Facebook page and let us know!
