In this upcycled weaving workshop, you’ll transform simple, accessible materials to construct your own loom from cardboard and dive into the creative process of turning scraps—old fabric, ribbons, yarn, or even plastic bags—into a personalized wall hanging.

No need for special tools or purchased supplies, just bring what you have on hand and explore the beauty of repurposing. Perfect for crafters looking to transform accumulated bits and pieces into something entirely new, this class embraces resourcefulness and creativity.

New Art Center studios coming soon!

Starting July 21, 2025, some programs will move to temporary spaces while our new studios are under construction. Check location details before your visit!

In-Person programs:

How to access 92NY events during construction:

Events in Kaufmann Concert Hall, Weill Art Gallery, Buttenwieser Hall, and Arnhold Studio: Use the 92nd Street entrance. A Box Office agent will assist you.
All other programs: Use the Lexington Avenue entrance at 91st Street (South Building). To reach the North Building, use the 3rd-floor walkway.
