In the final part of a three-part discussion series about different kinds of aggression, German social psychologist Erich Fromm analyzes the concepts of idol worship and defensive destructiveness, which defines aggression as a response to a threat of "vital interest" in both animals and humans. Fromm also examines the concept of dominance behavior in relation to aggression. The discussion concludes with audience questions.
