    Nineteen lectures portray the life and teachings of specific Hasidic masters and dynasties; addressing topics of special Hasidic concern (e.g. “joy” or “community”); or exploring the relevance of Hasidism today — with regular mention of Professor Wiesel’s own identification as a Hasid of Vizhnitz.
