Juho Pohjonen—"La poule" from Rameau's Suite No. 2 in G Major, RCT 6

Apr 09, 2019

Finnish pianist Juho Pohjonen offered a wide-ranging program this evening, beginning with Rameau’s G-Major Suite

This performance featuresJean-Philippe Rameau's "La poule" and was inspired by Rameu's favorite chicken! The composer wrote "co co co co co coco dai" under the opening notes to reinforce its resemblance to the cackling of hens. Do you think he got it right?
