Born in Toronto, Samantha Bee studied at the University of Ottawa and at McGill. Her early work was in film, television, and – memorably -- a live action production of Sailor Moon. In 2003, she crossed the border to the United States, where she could laugh not at us but near us, starting the job for which she is best known, correspondent for "The Daily Show."
