From NYC to the Tree of Life Synagogue in Pittsburgh, from Ghana and Belarus, Turkey, Israel, Guatemala and beyond, 92Y wishes you a “Shana Tovah” (a “Happy New Year”) with the release of “Reset,” a new song and video for Rosh Hashanah 2019-5780.
“Reset” features music and lyrics by Abigail Pogrebin and Noah Aronson and was shot on mobile phones by members of Jewish communities around the world.
Participants recorded either the entire song or smaller sections and sent their footage to 92Y’s Digital Content team.
Rabbi Rubinstein who commissioned the song comments, “It is important that this video conveys joy, uplift, and renewal in order to help us take account, reset priorities and commit to better days in the year ahead.”
