Scott Blakeman: A Lighter Look at the U.S. Constitution

In this 225th anniversary of the U.S. Constitution year, political comedian Scott Blakeman takes a lighter look at our countries guiding document, finding that comedians and the constitution have one major thing in common—optimism. Scott cites the importance of freedom of speech, but finds a common failure among Americans to engage in civil discussion as “people aren’t really listening to what people say.” Blakeman says solutions come by promoting dialogue and bringing people together.
