Stone, who later published The Trial of Socrates (1988), continues his lecture series, "The Trial of Socrates Revisited," with further examination of the historical trial and its surrounding events, including discussion of Socrates' writings and philosophy, as well as Plato's The Apology, a socratic dialogue of Socrates' self-defense during his trial in 399 BC.
