Watchdog at the White House: From Kennedy to Bush

Feb 20, 1992

At the 1992 Goldberg Lecture, Helen Thomas, a reporter and author, discusses her work as a serving member of the White House press corps. Her coverage of the White House began with the Kennedy administration and continued through to the active administration at the time of this recording, President George H. W. Bush. Thomas provides humor and personal insight as she shares her memorable interactions with U.S. Presidents and answers questions from the audience. The Goldberg Lecture series was created in memory of Monica Dennis Goldberg and serves as an annual forum to honor women of high achievement.
