Overview

Learn the steps and styles of basic Israeli folk dances.

This is a progressive series with the first half hour geared to those with more limited Israeli folk dance experience. Registration for each seven-week series includes admission to the Open Session that follows every class.

Classes are held in-person and on Zoom. A Zoom link is provided to registrants prior to each class.

This program is part of the Harkness Dance Center, which recognizes the ongoing generosity of the Harkness Foundation for Dance.

In-Person programs:

How to access 92NY events during construction:

Events in Kaufmann Concert Hall, Weill Art Gallery, Buttenwieser Hall, and Arnhold Studio: Use the 92nd Street entrance. A Box Office agent will assist you.
All other programs: Use the Lexington Avenue entrance at 91st Street (South Building). To reach the North Building, use the 3rd-floor walkway.
