On November 10, 2013, 92NY’s Gymnastics Studio in the Sky celebrated our Grand Opening alongside a few special guests: Olympic gymnast Aly Raisman, Manhattan Borough President-elect Gale Brewer, New York Congresswoman Carolyn Maloney and 92NY’s resident GymStars team.
Olympic gold-medalist and captain of the legendary Fierce Five U.S. women’s gymnastics team, Aly Raisman, was on hand for the ribbon-cutting ceremony, autographs and a Q&A, where she gave our GymStars an insight on what it’s like to be an Olympic athlete. Check out the video of the celebration:
