Art Center Renovation

We’re consolidating the Art Center onto two dedicated floors (South 3 and 6), gaining over 700 square feet and nearly 10% more space. That means:

• Larger class sizes in ceramics, jewelry, and fine arts
• Better shared spaces — including new seating areas, a welcome desk, and gallery walls to showcase more 2- and 3-dimensional art than ever before
• Smarter design — with studios laid out for how we actually teach and create

Behind the scenes, you’ll see major upgrades too: Efficient and practical storage solutions – both for students and for the center’s equipment – will improve class setup and breakdown; plus new systems for air filtration, integrated security and the latest hybrid learning tech.

Jewelry

Brand-new equipment. Quieter ventilation. Cleaner torches. Better lighting. Every update is designed to support your practice — whether you’re just getting started or well into your career.

Ceramics

This is our biggest transformation. With more space, smoother traffic flow, and a new dedicated glaze mixing lab, we’re adding 48 seats per session — and Friday classes are finally happening! Plus: new slab rollers, a state-of-the-art computerized dual gas/electric kiln, and an advanced air filtration system.

Fine Arts

We’re creating smarter studios: improved layouts for better figure model privacy, natural light, furniture that supports all ages and levels, and built-in storage to make setup and cleanup a breeze.
