Share Our America is an initiative that rebuilds our trust in one another. Led by local leaders across our country, Share Our America gatherings bring divided communities back together.
Created in collaboration with experts in cross-cultural dialogue, Share Our America uses research-backed strategies proven to promote trust and build friendships across differences. During Share Our America gatherings, individuals connect through shared meals, local activities, social events, and facilitated conversations. Instead of looking to change people’s minds — which opens the door to bias, judgment, and fear — we build the foundation necessary to listen without judgment.
Developed by the Belfer Center for Innovation & Social Impact at The 92nd Street Y, New York (92NY), Share Our America has been used to bridge political and religious divides and support dialogue on community safety in towns and cities across the United States.
